Mumbai: The Wealth Company Asset Management Private Limited, a subsidiary of the Pantomath Group, has officially announced the launch of the Bharat Bhoomi Fund, a ₹2,000 crore Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).
This includes a ₹1,000 crore base and an additional ₹1,000 crore green shoe option under the firm’s fifth Bharat Value Fund series.

Designed to bridge the gap between investor expectations and developer execution, the Bharat Bhoomi Fund brings private equity rigor to the Indian real estate market.
It will focus on execution-ready, high-growth projects across major urban centers like Mumbai (MMR), NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, as well as infrastructure-led corridors and new urban expansion zones.
“Bharat Bhoomi Fund meets rising investor demand for real assets by combining strong underwriting, execution control, and tangible value creation,” said Madhu Lunawat, Founder and Director of The Wealth Company Asset Management.
The fund will allocate capital to both traditional and new-age asset classes – including data centers, warehousing, renewable energy parks, hospitality, and plotted developments – supporting India’s infrastructure and sustainability agenda. These segments reflect the fund’s vision of real estate as economic infrastructure, not just physical assets.
Experienced Leadership Driving Bharat Bhoomi Fund
The Bharat Bhoomi Fund is spearheaded by Rakesh Kumar, a real estate veteran with experience in over 50,000 transactions and former senior leadership at Reliance, Shell, and Walmart. He is joined by Bhavya Bagrecha, known for structuring India’s first REIT-style vehicle under SEBI’s VCF guidelines and executing over ₹2,500 crore in real estate investments.
The advisory board also includes Peter Sharp, ex-head of Walmart Asia’s real estate, bringing over three decades of global experience.

The Fund has already built a strong deal pipeline with access to over 1,200 acres across six projects, prioritizing clear land titles, regulatory readiness, and early exit potential to ensure timely and scalable value creation.
“As capital markets mature, real estate is emerging as a resilient, real-return asset class. Bharat Bhoomi Fund aligns perfectly with this trend, offering investors exposure to well-governed, scalable opportunities,” added Lunawat.
The Bharat Bhoomi Fund is poised to redefine institutional-grade real estate investing in India with a blend of execution discipline, domain expertise, and strategic diversification.
